Ballymaloe Country Relish commenced production in 1990 by Yasmin Hyde, daughter of Myrtle Allen of Ballymaloe House, the company started in a small way and gradually grew, and today Ballymaloe Country Relish is available nationwide in shops and is a favourite on restaurant menus and in sandwich bars. The range also grew and now boasts an exciting product portfolio.

Myrtle Allen set up this Restaurant and Country Accommodation in 1964. Set on a large farm in East Cork. It is a family run farm, where guests relax in comfortable accommodation and enjoy the award winning restaurant, one of Ireland's foremost restaurants which has won innumerable awards and accolades for its outstanding cuisine and promotion of local Irish Produce.
